The Jeepney yet another reason for Electric Cars
The need for alternative fuel, alernative energy, or electric cars

It shows that Manila is home to over 14 million people and 1.4 million cars, Their air quality is 3 times worse than the current safety standards. Manila is listed as 1 of the top 10 worst most polluted cities in the world. Some of the other problems that are created by this pollution are 1 out of 10 their children suffer from asthma or other respiratory illnesses and the traffic fumes are blamed for the deaths of over 4,000 of their residents every year.
I think this is a compelling reason to definitely look in to the possibilities of electric cars and alternative fuels. Don't you??
